Panamericana

About This Project

Two continents, ten countries, 20 000 kilometers of road.  The documentary series Panamericana takes you on the legendary route across the American continent. From the icy shores of Alaska to the hot jungle of Central America all the way down to Tierra del Fuego (the land of fire) in the southernmost part of South America. The focus is always on the people living along the route, their way of living, their joys as well as their sorrows.

Vom eisigen Alaska durch den feucht-heissen Dschungel Mittelamerikas bis zum kargen Feuerland. Immer stehen die Begegnungen mit Menschen im Mittelpunkt, ihre vielfältigen Kulturen, ihre Lebensfreude und ihr Alltag.
